Vape industry

PG is widely known to be the perfect for flavor and nicotine distribution as well as gives more noticeable throat hit comparing to VG (Vegetable Glycerine).

Chemical industry

Monopropylene glycol (MPG), which is also in our offer is primarily used as a base for creams is primarily used as a base for creams, lotions, toothpastes, and many other personal care products.

Monopropylene Glycol can be used in a hydraulic press as a working fluid. Other usage of MPG is in cooling systems as a coolant, or as a component of antifreeze and de-icing agents, eg in aviation. Due to its low toxicity, propylene glycol is increasingly replacing ethylene glycol traditionally used in these fluids. PG is widely used for fodder and for the production of fishing groundbaits, fish food, as well as lubricants, oils and coolants.

Food industrty

PG is also used in the food industry as a preservative, emulsifier, and component of flavors and colors (E1520). It is widely used as a preservative which protects food from deterioration, and serves as an emulsifier that gives smoothness to food products. Propylene Glycol can be used as an ingredient in food dyes and flavors, also in e-liquids manufacturing.

 
Cosmetics

Glycol can be used in the production of cosmetics as an excipient that gives the cosmetic the desired emulsion consistency and as an ingredient that moisturizes the skin. It may be a component of

  • toothpastes, mouthwashes
  • hand hygiene products or general cleaning agents
  • one of the main ingredients of stick deodorants
  • fragrance carrier in fragrance oils and massage oils

PG is used as a base for oral medicines and creams. Other uses for propylene glycol include in the tobacco industry as a lubricant and e-cigarette liquids.
